Nancy Jane was born March 6, 1845* in either Johnson or Benton County, Missouri, and probably died before the age of 5, since she is not on the Census record for 1850.  John Samuel was born Dec 1842, Isaac Taylor in Aug 1850, a gap of almost 8 years.  That is where Nancy and her brother Stephen fit in, although they were apparently both deceased before the 1850 census.

According to The Pioneer History of Coos and Curry Counties, OR (Dodge, 1898), they were both deceased at the time of writing.  Neither child shows up in a census record as living with William and Irene.
